I visited Chicago for 10 days in 2011. It was my first time in the USA. I went there for WordCamp Chicago and loved it. I had a fantastic time at the conference (only my second ever WordCamp), and being a tourist wandering around Chicago. I’d love to go back sometime.

Friday night Genesis Chicago meet-up, followed by main event (including lunch).

The Sunday of WordCamp Chicago was a few more talks, some Chicago-style deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati’s, and the evening spent with Jared and Sam at Navy Pier and in a bar right near where the WordCamp was being held.
