Grey Nurse sharks

From Sydney photos

Grey Nurse sharks

Filename: 2007-937.JPG

We went scuba diving (first time ever for both of us) in this tank. The tank contains four different species of sharks including seven adults and two juvenile Grey Nurse Sharks. There are 4 different species of rays including the huge queen mattress–sized smooth stingrays, giant turtles and the marine life of Sydney Harbour including snapper any fisherman would be proud of and enormous mulloway.
So yes, we, we’re standing on the other side of that glass, and the sharks you see did come within inches of us. Oh, and the concave nature of the glass means that the size of the sharks here only appear about 75% of their actual size (3.8 metres).
