The one thing I struggle with is coming up with the content for a post, and the motivation to write that content. I’ve tried to take a leaf out of Michael’s book via his Ten Ways to Crank out Killer Posts post and his follow up Twelve More Ways to Crank Out Killer Posts in Ten Minutes or Less.

Admittedly, I probably tend to post things direct to my twitter account rather than save it up for my blog, but how do you go about getting content great posts out to your site?

Gary, I ask customers what there problems are. This usually generates a topic or two.

I will usually write a topic as it is triggered along in my life. And then focus on writing about that topic.
Used to write about 3 to 5 posts every day back in 2007…
And as time passed, I start to write only when something triggers me. :)

Gary,

Thanks for the ideas…I don’t even get writer’s block since I’m not a writer :) . I’m going to read through Michael’s info about and see if it helps. BTW…thanks for all your help in DIY forums!
