I try to post every 2 or 3 days. I don't have enough good content or the time to post every day. I think different posting schedules work for different blogs. Although, I suppose it does say something that a lot of the most popular blogs post daily, if not multiple times a day.

I seem to go through phases - from the middle of March to about now, I had enough material that I could schedule something new every 3 or 4 days. I'm getting thin for scheduled content again, and haven't got the time to set aside to write some more posts.
Do you (and others) write when you feel like it, or at least try and follow a semi-schedule frequency?

I think frequency of posts is a subjective point with Blogging. I would develop a style and frequency that suits you.

In terms of good practice articles for Blogging, I tend to find these are based on commercial Blogs, and it's plain to see that these are really struggling at the moment.
