Apparently, it's akin to giving back to the readers in a non-monetary sense...a lot of bloggers have reported above average gains in readership using Commentluv. Another way(this makes a lot more sense), is participating in relevant forums. For example, I'm a finance buff...so I'd comment at other finance buff blogs. Make quality comments not just ask questions. You get hitbacks(insert techy term here).... Same thing with forums.
